IDNS, the Bolton based audio visual (AV), IT and software solution specialists, announced today they were named the Integrator of the Year at the AV Awards. Always a highly acclaimed award within the AV industry, this year’s celebration of outstanding achievement was particularly special, given the challenging period the entire country has endured.

Since a management buyout was completed 4 years ago, IDNS have invested heavily in people, systems and their communities to spearhead growth. The foundations of the business though have never changed; true account management where they help and support their customers with technology solutions that make a difference.

On the back of their recent brand launch, where they gave away £25k of technology to education, and a record-breaking year for turnover, IDNS were finalists in three categories for this year’s AV Awards.

Sebasitan Stanciu, who is a Senior Project Manager for IDNS, was a finalist for Rising Star of the Year. Sebastian said of being a finalist:

“Although I only joined IDNS two years ago, the support and commitment they have shown me has helped me accelerate my development. To be named as a finalist in the rising star category is a huge achievement and something I’ll always be proud of.”

Alongside winning Integrator of the Year, IDNS were also finalists for the Green Company of the Year. The Green Company of the Year finalists were selected from all the entries submitted as part of the AV awards. IDNS were recognised as making a considerable effort to reduce their environmental impact and reuse, recycle or safely dispose of waste. The Integrator of the Year award is given to the company who demonstrate growth, innovation and an unrivalled support to their customers.

The judging for the awards consists of an independent panel of senior representatives from end-user organisations, consultants and key industry players. The judging process involves two stages, the first a scored written submission, the second a face-to-face interview with a panel of judges.

Commenting on the win, Managing Director Darren Clayman, said:

“It’s been a fantastic period of growth for our business. At the start of the pandemic, we chose not to furlough our staff, instead we did everything we could to help our customers and communities. To be recognised as the best in our industry is a testament to the hard work, dedication and passion every single member of our team has shown over the last 12 months.”
