Removals and Relocations Framework is now live!
NEUPC is pleased to announce the launch of our latest national agreement: the Removals and Relocations Services Framework (FFE2009 NE), now live and available to members from 1st May 2025 to 30th April 2029.
This comprehensive framework offers a fully PCR2015-compliant route to market for a wide range of removal and relocation requirements, providing an efficient, flexible, and value-driven solution for the Higher Education sector and wider public sector.
Framework Overview
Procured by NEUPC with input from expert stakeholders across the UKUPC consortia, the framework supports everything from small-scale moves to complex, high-risk and international relocation projects. It is designed to reduce internal resource demands, ensure compliance, and deliver measurable procurement benefits in line with HEPA guidance.
What the Framework Covers
The agreement is structured into five distinct lots:
- Lot 1: General (Low Value/Lower Risk) Commercial Removals
- Lot 2: Specialist (High Value/Higher Risk) Commercial Removals
- Lot 3: Crate Hire/Purchase and Packaging Products
- Lot 4: Domestic-Style Removals (e.g. student or staff moves within the UK)
- Lot 5: International Moves (excluding staff relocation)
Services include full or part relocations, packing and unpacking, secure storage, porter support, move management, and the transportation of sensitive or specialist items such as IT equipment, lab apparatus, library collections, and museum artefacts.
Framework Access
This agreement is available to members of:
- NEUPC
- APUC
- HEPCW
- LUPC
- NWUPC
- SUPC
Procurement routes include Direct Award and Further Competition, allowing flexibility based on institutional needs and procurement policies.
