The UKUPC is a partnership between eight UK Consortia who created a formal entity to support collaborative procurement within Higher Education.  We work together to share knowledge and best practice, to support each other and our wider procurement community.

The UKUPC is comprised of heads of the UK regional purchasing consortia (Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium; Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges, Scotland; Higher Education Purchasing Consortium, Wales; London Universities Purchasing Consortium, North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium and North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium), the head of TEC and the head of TUCO  as well as a representative from HEFCE.

The UKUPC will publish a biannual newsletter, highlighting the collaboration across a range of specialist areas through the operation of four focused working groups: the Heads of Consortia Group, Joint Contracting Group, Consortia Information Systems Strategy Group and Communications Group, working together to support better pocurement across the HE Sector. The group have also published the first UKUPC Annual Impact Statement, highlighting the benefits for our members through our collaborative approach.
